It's Harvest Season
It is the beginning of the harvest in wine country with some grapes just ripe for the picking.
If you have an opportunity to visit wine country you will enjoy seeing the beautiful grapevines that are still heavy with plump fruit enjoying their last few weeks in the sun.
A visit to wine country during the harvest season is one of the best stress busters I can think of. There is nothing better than seeing the beautiful colors of nature and all its bounty.

Gamble on Unusual Wines
Less than 20 miles from the "east coast" gambling mecca of Atlantic City, there is a winery known for its unusual wines.
Balic Winery in Mays Landing has a delicious sweet wine made from fresh red raspberries, and a semi-sweet wine that is blended with natural almond flavor called the "almanique" wine.
Balic Winery's best selling wine is "Alexander the Great", a red wine made from Vranac grapes. These grapes are from Macedonia, which is the same region that the conqueror hails from, hence the name Alexander the Great.
If you are in southern New Jersey, take a ride to Mays Landing and visit Balic Winery. (609) 625-2166
